The Warm Safe Home Project

Created for the Warm Safe Home Project to highlight the occurrence of Elder Abuse (as in abuse of the Elderly, not just specifically Indigenous Elders)

The Warm Safe Home Project is something I have participated in for a couple of years and will happily continue to support as our Elderly need to feel safe in their own homes. Physically, financially and emotionally safe.

It was my privilege to share the story of an Indigenous Elder and his family in my piece. Lots of Artists have been engaged to paint different stories, each one highlighting a situation of Abuse. All the houses and their stories will go on exhibition later this month (I will share all the info) so you check it out. And then the exhibition will go on tour.

As a community we should always choose to support our Elderly, I'm certainly grateful to be given this opportunity to play a tiny role.
