Upcoming Exhibitions

Under her Weave: Materiality, Country, Continuance @ Australian Tapestry Workshop

  • May 14th - June 27th 2026

  • Thursday – Saturday, 10am – 5pm

  • 262-266 Park Street, South Melbourne, Victoria 3205 Australia.

I invite audiences into a deeply personal exploration of weaving as relationship, memory and cultural continuance. My practice begins with listening and attunement, to the wind moving through grasses, the persistence of roots beneath the soil, and the subtle negotiations between land, water and time. In this space, Mother Nature is not a metaphor but a matriarch and guiding presence. Through fibre and form, I honour the interconnectedness of materiality and Country, where each strand carries memory, season, touch and story.

As a Ngarrindjeri Weaver, my work is grounded in the teachings and strength of the women who came before me, from Grandmothers, mothers and Aunties to the sisters I weave beside today. Weaving provides me with a sense of belonging and has become a space for healing, reflection and connection in a fast-paced world. This exhibition is woven through repetitive practice, curiosity and deep respect for lineage, combining traditional knowledge with contemporary approaches while honouring the relationships embedded within every material I gather and weave.

On 20 June, I will also be hosting a hands-on weaving workshop using native grasses, inspired by the traditional coil weaving practices of Ngarrindjeri women. Through this sensory and reflective experience, I will share both traditional knowledge and contemporary approaches to weaving, inviting participants to slow down, connect with materiality and engage with the stories and relationships held within the fibres.

Design from Country @ shopKHT

  • 14th - 24th May 2026

  • The Birrarung Building, Fed Square, Cnr Flinders & Swanston St, Melbourne

I’m excited to be part of Design from Country with fellow artists Georgia Boseley and Alena Landers at shopKHT.

Grounded in culture and Country, this gathering brings together distinct yet interconnected practices through texture, form, storytelling and material exploration. My weaving practice continues to centre around connection, to self, to community and to the shared earth that holds us all - honouring the stories embedded within natural fibres and found materials.

Through collecting, harvesting and reworking materials, these works reflect care, curiosity and the relationships we carry with Country and with one another.

I’m looking forward to sharing this space and these conversations alongside such incredible artists.
