Indigenous Art Code

I have recently become a member of the Indigenous Art Code Ltd.

The Indigenous Art Code (the Code) is an important step in making sure that Indigenous artists are given a fair go in Australia.  By adding my name to the many other Indigenous artists, artwork dealers and associated organisations who have joined to support the Code, I am helping to make a clear statement that exploitation of artists is not acceptable. 

The Code is a set of rules and guidelines that dealers (both Indigenous and non-Indigenous businesses) commit to follow to ensure ethical practices and fair treatment of artists.

Keep an eye out for the IAC logo to ensure you are buying ethically, and supporting genuine authentic Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists.
