Sending this piece off to be stretched tomorrow. I have enjoyed having it at home for a bit.. that almost never happens!!!! 4 solid days of painting.. she tested my patience this afternoon but I got there in the end to finish this beautiful 2 metre piece.

It's been amazing to see the reactions of staff and students as they watched it come to life. Cant wait to see what they say once they see it Tomorrow. It's been an awesome experience!

Once I have finished a piece it normally heads straight off to the framers for stretching and framing. So I guess it's always good that I get so attached whilst I'm painting- I literally become obsessed with what I'm working on. Then I let go and share the story.

Once they are done the next step in the process is swift.. off to framer, next to have it professionally photographed, then on to its new owner or Gallery. I'm an emotional painter, I get attached then I feel a bit sad to see them go, but it's important to me to share my art and the stories each piece tells.

I have only ever kept one piece for myself. One I just can't part with. It hangs in bedroom and I never tire of looking at it or the feeling I get when I see it.

I love that art has that power and I love that you guys are enjoying my work so much xx very grateful
