Feather Flowers Workshop ~ NAIDOC Week 2023

As NAIDOC 2023 celebrates our Elders, I would like to acknowledge the most important Elder in my life, Aunty Glenda Nicholls, a master weaver.

Aunty Glenda has been guiding and sharing her knowledge with me, and I am extremely grateful to be her niece.

Thanks to James Henry for capturing our special bond as Aunty Glenda showed me how the women in my family have been making feather flowers, a skill now passed on to me.

I absolutely treasure these images, but more importantly, I honor and treasure my beautiful Aunt, who is so loving and giving. I proudly share the gifts she gives me.
