A slow and steady breath out as the laughter gradually subsides. Generations of our women sit side by side, as the time for learning is now. Watch for the birds to come as the season changes. The sun will sit differently in the sky and it’s heat will warm. The flowers will begin to bloom on the land and if you tread carefully you will see the new growth awaken from the dry Earth. They tell us where to look, where to gather and what to leave until another time. Planting the seeds and sharing their knowledge that together will keep the land alive.
