Weaving with Native grasses

The traditional weaving practice of the Ngarrindjeri women has included harvesting, drying, soaking and then weaving with Native sedges and grasses, these grasses are endemic to waterways and dry climates. In this session you will weave with Lomandra Longifolia, harvested from Emma’s own garden, you will also learn about processing of preparation of native plant fibres.

The full program is conducted over 4 hours and each participant can create a basket or vessel Minimum of 6 participants, maximum of 20 (all materials included) $140 p/p
